Mid tech: Perkins Braille writer
is a manually operated, six-key typewriter that allows a person write in braille the student can use this for writing notes in the classroom or the teacher who knows braille can use this to write out things in braille for a person. the down side to this is that a young child who is around the age of 5 and 6 may not be able to use this if they do not yet know how to read and write in braille meaning a child must first have knowledge of braille and be able to understand it first before using it.
