Other health impairments
Low tech: wobble seat, the wooble seat is to be placed on the students chair and they sit on it causing them to try to focus on sitting still without having to disrupt the class by getting up and having the urge to move around with the wobble seat it take that urge way, the downside is if the student thinks this is some kind of toy to play with and doesnt use it the right way.
Mid tech: the fidget cube is a small cube the has different moving piece on each side allowing the student to use their hands without getting out of their seat to move or touch another student or their things. this fidget tool is a great little device that can easily be hidden from other students sight. the downside is that because it is small that it could get lost.
High Tech: Handheld microcomputers, such as the Palm Pilot ®, use touch screen capability and allow an individual to easily input, save, and retrieve notes, telephone numbers, dates and daily reminders, and to-do lists. A built-in calendar displays the entire month at a glance while cursor controls allow scrolling from day-to-day or month-to month. the great thing about this is that it give the student a hand held device that can be easily used and accessed. the down side it that the stuednt needs to rememebr to plug it in and charge it.
